Questions buyers ask about GHK-Cu

Which GHK-Cu identity fields must be fixed in an order?+

Specify GHK-Cu versus free GHK, neutral versus cationic representation, free base versus acetate-associated material, exact CAS/CID convention, counterion, formula and theoretical mass basis. Confirm peptide identity by intact mass or another orthogonal method and measure copper content or stoichiometry. Colour, INCI name and catalogue name are not identity tests.

Why are HPLC area purity and copper colour insufficient?+

RP-HPLC area describes peak distribution under one method; it does not quantify net peptide, copper, water, counterions or residual solvents. Blue colour can be consistent with a copper complex but cannot establish sequence, stoichiometry, purity, stability or microbial quality. A defensible COA separates chromatographic purity from quantitative assay and includes orthogonal identity and copper measurement.

What does Copper Tripeptide-1 mean in cosmetic work?+

Copper Tripeptide-1 is an INCI ingredient name, not FDA approval. FDA states that cosmetics and ingredients generally do not undergo premarket approval except for colour additives. The formulator remains responsible for finished-product safety, claims, labelling, stability and destination-market compliance. Injectable GHK-Cu is not an FDA-approved drug.
